Intended Use
The My Recovery Pillow is designed to provide cushioning and comfort by helping reduce seatbelt pressure during travel. It may also be used for general comfort while resting or recovering.
This product is intended as a comfort accessory only.
It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition.
Directions for Use
1. Secure the pillow around your seatbelt using the adjustable Velcro straps.
2. Position the pillow where the seatbelt rests comfortably across your chest or abdomen.
3. Ensure the seatbelt remains correctly positioned and functions as intended.
4. If using the included hot/cold gel pack, prepare it according to the manufacturer’s instructions before inserting it into the pillow pocket.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
* Always wear your seatbelt correctly and securely in accordance with your vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations and local road laws.
* This pillow must never replace, alter or interfere with the proper operation of your seatbelt or any vehicle safety system.
* Ensure the seatbelt sits securely against your body at all times.
* Discontinue use immediately if the pillow affects seatbelt positioning, restricts movement or causes discomfort.
* Never modify or alter this product in any way.
DRIVING WARNING
The Endo Shop does NOT recommend driving whilst using the My Recovery Pillow.
This product has been designed primarily to provide comfort for passengers travelling after surgery, during flare days or while recovering from illness.
If you choose to drive whilst using this product, you do so entirely at your own risk.
Never use this product if it:
* affects your ability to safely operate a motor vehicle;
* interferes with the correct positioning or function of your seatbelt;
* restricts your movement or reaction time;
* causes distraction while driving.
Do not adjust or reposition the pillow while the vehicle is moving.
HOT & COLD GEL PACK SAFETY
* Follow all instructions supplied with the gel pack.
* Always test the temperature before use.
* Never apply extreme heat or cold directly to bare skin.
* Do not use a damaged, leaking or punctured gel pack.
* Keep away from infants and supervise use around children.
* Do not sleep whilst using a heated or frozen gel pack.
MEDICAL ADVICE
Consult your doctor or surgeon before using this product if you:
* have recently undergone surgery;
* have surgical wounds, drains or dressings;
* have reduced skin sensation or poor circulation;
* have been given specific post-operative travel restrictions.
Always follow the advice of your treating healthcare professional.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
* Spot clean with a damp cloth only.
* Air dry completely before storing.
* Do not bleach.
* Do not tumble dry.
* Keep away from open flames and excessive heat.
CHILD SAFETY
This product is not a toy. Keep out of reach of young children unless under adult supervision.
PRODUCT INSPECTION
Inspect the pillow, stitching and Velcro straps before each use.
Do not use if the product becomes damaged, torn or no longer fastens securely.
