Founder, Kellie Johnson, suffered from severe period pain from just 12 years of age. 10 years later she was diagnosed with stage 4 Endometriosis. Heat packs were her life-line, and she owned multiple different styles. Some lived at her office, some at home, but none were really sufficient to treat her pain. She would typically have two on the go, one for her belly and one for her back. She would struggle to get comfortable as the weight of the fillings would bear down on her bloated tummy. She would regularly suffer from large red burn patches on her skin where the heat was concentrated. Not to mention the humiliation of walking into a busy meeting room at work, with her smelly old floral-print heat pack, that reminded her of her dear granny’s curtains.

Fed up, Kellie decided to create the perfect pack to get her through each month. She got herself a second-hand sewing machine, and from the lounge room of her Central Coast home, she taught herself to sew. After more than 12 months of researching fabrics and designs, Kosi was born. With multiple designs, we have you covered whether you are bed-ridden, or running to a meeting in your slick city office.
